Briquette Production

High-quality wood briquettes are an efficient heating fuel as well as a modern and environmentally friendly way to heat buildings. At DREKON, we have been involved in comprehensive wood processing and the production of wooden components for over 25 years, and one of our specialties is briquette manufacturing. Modern briquette production technology, high-quality raw materials, and specialized machinery—briquetting presses—ensure that we deliver an excellent heating fuel, produced to the highest standards.

Briquette Production – Advantages

Briquettes are a highly cost-effective heating fuel with a wide range of applications. As a result, briquetting services are a profitable solution both for manufacturers specializing in briquette production and for buyers.

The parameters of briquettes are comparable to another efficient heating fuel—pellets. Why is heating with biofuel beneficial?

  • High energy value – 1 tonne of briquettes corresponds to approximately 4–6 m³ of firewood, which means longer burning time and more heat generation.
  • Low moisture content – typically not exceeding 10%.
  • Easy storage – briquettes take up significantly less space than many other heating fuels.

Briquette production is carried out on an increasingly large scale. It is a popular fuel used in home fireplaces, but not only. Briquettes are also cost-effective for use in stoves, fireplaces with water jackets, and traditional solid-fuel boilers.

Briquette Production Process – How Does It Work?

The briquette production process uses various materials such as straw, sawdust, peat, and other raw materials that often constitute waste in many companies. The type of raw material determines the heating efficiency of briquettes. One of the most efficient options is sawdust briquettes.

A briquette production line is equipped with specialized machinery—briquetting presses—that enable the fast production of briquettes from straw, sawdust, and other materials. The technology used allows for the productive reuse of waste, transforming it into a dense and compact heating fuel.

A simplified briquette production process is presented in Table 1.

How to Produce Briquettes Efficiently?

Advanced technology for producing sawdust briquettes enables us to sell premium-quality sawdust briquettes to individual customers looking for an economical alternative to firewood. A modern briquette production line and extensive manufacturing capacity also allow us to supply heating briquettes to small and medium-sized businesses as well as public institutions such as schools and kindergartens.

The high availability of raw materials, resulting from our core business profile, guarantees lower production costs. This allows us to offer not only excellent quality but also competitive prices for sawdust briquettes.

Briquette production at our company is carried out exclusively using wood—primarily oak and beech hardwood sawdust. Professional briquetting presses, operating under high pressure and temperature, transform wood-processing waste into a full-value heating fuel. Customer satisfaction is our priority, which is why the final product we deliver guarantees both savings and optimal efficiency. Our eco-friendly sawdust briquettes contain no bark, glue, or chemical additives.

Our services are provided both within the Małopolska region and throughout Poland. Orders can be placed directly with our sales department.
