CNC Machining of Wooden Components
CNC machining is at the core of our services. Customer satisfaction is our priority, which is why we offer precise and professional CNC turning, CNC milling, grinding, and other machining services for wooden components, supported by modern technologies. Our specialized machinery ensures accurate reproduction of designs as well as a precise and repeatable production process.
Our team consists of skilled professionals with extensive experience and qualifications. DREKON has operated in the woodworking industry for 25 years, providing professional turning services. We manufacture turned elements from high-quality raw materials such as solid oak, pine, ash, and beech wood. We also carry out custom orders using materials supplied by the client.
What Is CNC Turning?
CNC turning, CNC milling, and other machining methods performed through modern automated processes guarantee top-quality components with perfectly smooth surfaces and the desired shapes.
CNC technology involves the use of computer-controlled numerical machines during machining. This modern solution delivers highly efficient results and is therefore applied not only in wood machining but also in the processing of other construction materials, such as metals. Our numerically controlled, computer-assisted machines form a modern machinery park that allows for accurate detail reproduction and the production of multiple components with precise shapes.
Our Offer
CNC technology enables the production of highly precise turned elements in the shortest possible time. Thanks to its use, we can offer high-quality components at competitive prices, including:
- lamp components,
- wooden legs for tables and chairs,
- plant stands.
We also manufacture turned wooden elements used in finishing wooden stair balustrades, such as balusters and posts, available in many different designs.
Our clients primarily include woodworking workshops and companies from the furniture industry; however, we also cater to individual customers by providing professional turning services.
We understand that the turned elements we produce often play an important decorative role and should be consistent with the overall interior design of a house or apartment. Upon request, we complete custom orders (CNC milling, CNC turning) precisely tailored to the client’s needs and aligned with the specifications provided in the project documentation.
CNC Machining – Turning
CNC turning is one of the machining methods. In the CNC turning process, the material is set into rotational motion while the cutting tool shapes the workpiece through linear feed movement. In most cases, CNC turning is used to process wooden elements with cylindrical, conical, or other rotational shapes. The process is carried out using a lathe that enables CNC-based modeling of both the internal and external surfaces of the workpiece.
Types of Turning
- Longitudinal turning – the direction of the cutting tool movement remains parallel to the axis of rotation of the workpiece.
- Transverse turning – the cutting tool moves perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the workpiece.
- Copy turning – based on a template shape that is precisely reproduced on the workpiece during the CNC turning process.
- Form turning – the final shape of the workpiece is entirely determined by the shape of the cutting tools.
At DREKON, we provide comprehensive CNC machining services for both small and medium-sized companies as well as individual customers. We offer professional advice at every stage of cooperation and an optimal balance of quality and price. For orders and quotations, please contact our sales department.
